Welcome to Village and Its People’s Monthly Wine Club, Hawaii’s most exclusive Wine club. Each month the team at Village will hand select a unique assortment of wines that vary in style and flavor to help you explore the vast world of wine. With so many different wineries, styles and varietals, this is the perfect way to sample new wines each month and expand your palate.
Membership into Village and Its People’s Wine Club is limited to only 50 members. This allows us to source and provide the club with the most unique and exciting wines. The cost of membership is only $35 (plus tax) per month.
What will I receive each month? (and other benefits)
Each month you will receive a select number of unique and exciting wines hand picked by Village staff with an extensive background in the wine industry. The number of wines,sizes & styles will vary month to month. Members will also have access to 5% off all draft products and merchandise as well as 5% off bottle shop purchases on the day they pick up their monthly wine club allotment. You will also receive 5% of full case reorders of past wine club products. *discounts cannot be combined with other offers, promotions or discounts.
How long is the membership term/Are members able to opt in/out throughout the year?
Membership terms are monthly. You can join for as long as you want and cancel at anytime. Please note that there are only a limited amount of memberships so if you cancel and want to rejoin, you will have to go onto the waiting list until an open membership becomes available.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged on the 1st of each calendar month. There are no returns or refunds once your card is charged.
When can I pick up my wines?
Club wines will be available to pick up on the 1st of each month. Club members will receive an email notice listing the wines for each month and when they are available to pick up. All club wines must be picked up at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room by you or your designated pickup person (*you must be 21 or older to pick up wines). We do not ship any wine.
How long will you hold my wines?
We request that club members pick up wines within 30 days. We will hold your wine for the month of each membership.
What happens if I don’t pick up my wine within 30 days?
After 30 days, we cannot guarantee that the wines that were offered in your previous month’s allotment will be available. If the wines are not available we will replace them with wines of equal value, at our sole discretion. There are no substitutes or changes for any wine.
Can I select specific wine or styles that I want to receive?
Part of the fun of each monthly selection is the excitement of experiencing our latest selections for the first time and is having the opportunity to try varietals, styles, and regions that you wouldn’t have access to otherwise or might not have thought to try on your own. So, while you can't specify in advance what wines you'll receive, rest assured that each monthly selection has passed our high standards of quality.
Are all the Wines I receive exclusive to club members?
Not necessarily. We can’t guarantee that any of the wines will only be available to club members. However, we are always diligently working to find you exciting and new product. From time to time you may receive an exclusive wine that will not be available to the general public.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your membership at anytime by visiting Village in person or calling us at 808-369-0688. Please note that once your credit card is charged for a month’s membership there are no refunds. If you decide to cancel your membership it will go into effect for the following month.
