Welcome to Village and Its People’s Monthly Beer Club, Hawaii’s most exclusive beer club. Each month the team at Village will hand select a unique assortment of beers that vary in style and flavor to help you explore the vast world of craft beer. With so many different breweries, beer styles and individual beers, this is the perfect way for you to sample new beers each month and expand your palate.
Membership into Village and Its People’s Beer Club is limited to only 100 members. This allows us to source and provide the club with the most unique and exciting beers. The cost of membership is only $30 (plus tax) per month. To sign up or to get onto the waiting list, please visit the store and fill out a sign up sheet.
What will I receive each month?
Each month you will receive a select number of unique and exciting beers hand picked by the team at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room. The number of beers and sizes will vary. Members will also have access to 5% off all draft beers and merchandise as well as 5% off bottle shop purchases on the day they pick up their monthly beer club allotment.
How long is the membership term? Are members able to opt in/out throughout the year?
Membership terms are monthly. You can join for as long as you want and cancel at anytime. Please note that there are only a limited amount of memberships so if you cancel and want to rejoin, you will have to go onto the waiting list until an open membership becomes available.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged on the 1st of each calendar month. There are no returns or refunds once your card is charged.
When can I pick up my beers?
Club beers will be available to pick up on the 1st of each month. Club members will receive an email notice listing the beers for each month and when they are available to pick up. All club beers must be picked up at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room by you or your designated pickup person (*must be 21 or older to pick up beers). We do not ship any beers.
How long will you hold my beers?
We request that club members pick up beers within 30 days. We will hold your beers for the month of each membership.
What happens if I don’t pick up my beer within 30 days?
After 30 days, we cannot guarantee that the beers that were offered in your previous month’s allotment will be available. If the beers are not available we will replace them with beers of equal value, at our sole discretion. There are no substitutes or changes for any beers.
Can I select specific beers or beer styles that I want to receive?
Part of the fun of each monthly selection is the excitement of experiencing our latest selections for the first time and having the opportunity to try beers and styles that you wouldn’t have access to or might not have thought to try on your own. So, while you can't specify in advance what beers you'll receive, rest assured that each monthly selection has passed our high standards of quality.
Are all the beers I receive exclusive to club members?
Not necessarily. We can’t guarantee that any of the beers will only be available to club members. However, we are always diligently working to find you exciting and new beers. From time to time you may receive an exclusive beer that will not be available to the general public.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your membership at anytime by visiting Village in person or calling us at 808-369-0688. Please note that once your credit card is charged for a month’s membership there are no refunds. If you decide to cancel your membership it will go into effect for the following month.
